Craps Betting With Poker And Casino

Poker Bluffs

Placing the 6 and 8

If you are bound and determined to make a place bet, then at least bet the two numbers that best give the place bettor a chance, the 6 and 8. Next to the Pass line bet, the 6 or 8 is the best bet to make percentagewise, 1.5 percent. Ironically, they are the two most unpopular numbers among place bettors. I guess the average place bettor figures that because the 6 and 8 do not pay as high odds as the 4, 5, 9, and 10, they are bad numbers to bet. Also, many players don’t know how to place the 6 and 8, because you must put up an odd amount of money, and this confuses many minds. To place the 6 and 8, you must give the croupier at least $6 for each number. The payoff is $7 for every $6 you put up. If you bet $5 and win, you’ll only receive $5 in return. That is not a good bet casino. It is even money.

Money Management

Here’s a special money management and betting method for the 6 and 8 so that you’ll last much longer, with a chance to make some money if the shooters roll 6s and 8s. The other “live ones” (place bettors) will be sweating it out as they spread across other numbers, worrying if they’ll be made before a 7 wipes all their bets out. But you will be (or should be) calm and cool; no guesswork as to how you’ll be betting Casino - Wheel Of Fortune. You should bet a minimum $6 on each number. If you’re in the minimum-bettor league, give the croupier $12 and say, “Place the 6 and 8 $6 each.” If either a 6 or 8 is made, tell the croupier to press (double) your bet. This means you are now betting $12 on the number that was made. The croupier will give you $1 back, which is your odds bonus ($7 for $6).

Betting Strategy

When betting the 6 and 8, you must remember you’re betting two numbers at all times. As each number is won, press it individually. Play the 6 and 8 each as a single bet. All place bets are automatically off on the comeout roll, which is the next roll after a point has been made. So you must tell the croupier that your place bets on the 6 and 8 “work,” on the comeout. You must specifically tell the croupier that your 6 and 8 bets “work” all the time, so there’s no confusion during the play.

Having the 6 and 8 work on the comeout means that you are getting the best action for your money. If a 6 or 8 shows, you’ll be paid the full amount, $7 for $6. If a 7 shows on the comeout, you’ll lose both bets Casino - Promotion By Casino. But by having the 6 and 8 work on the comeout, you still have the best of it. The odds are 5 to 3 in your favor that 6 or 8 will show before a 7. So, as long as the odds are in your favor, you must take advantage. There are more 6s and 8s thrown than 7s on a comeout roll.

The betting methods that I have described for the 6 and 8 are for poker that deal place bets only. There are also a few countries with clubs that pay even money on the 6 and 8. Never bet a 6 or 8 in those clubs. You’re giving up over 9 percent on each bet. Always ask what the place bet on the 6 and 8 pays before you start playing. If the answer is “Even money,” forget it. Don’t make a bet. You’re giving away too much.
