Player and Deck

Pai Gow Poker is a dealt with a standard 52 card deck and one Joker. Each player is dealt seven (7) cards. The object of the game is to make two (2) poker hands. One of the two hands is made up of five cards (called the High Hand), the other is the two card hand, (called the Low Hand). The five card hand must be better then the two card hand... for instance.., let’s assume that in the seven cards there are two (2) pairs... a pair of 10’s and a pair of 9’s. The total of the three dice will tell the dealer which spot (counting himself) will receive the first set of cards. The dealer will receive the first set of cards if the dice total 9 or 17. The table is numbered backwards from the standard 21 game. The spot to the dealers’ extreme right is number 1 and the extreme left is number 7.
